Amador College Connect is a completely free local resource center that quickly and easily connects people to online college classes and other programs/coursework by providing help at every step of the process, from filling out financial aid forms to signing up for classes, tutoring, and more.
Currently, Amador College Connect has agreements with four colleges within the California Community College System. For online programs, ACC works with Alan Hancock College, Coastline College, and Foothill College. Columbia College offers two Apprenticeship programs, as well as video broadcast classes held at our center in Sutter Creek. Finally, we partner with Arizona State University Online (ASU), which offers a four-year degree program entirely online!
Online college classes can lead to the completion of a certificate program, two-year degree (AA or AS), or four-year degree (BA or BS). For a complete list of available colleges and programs available through ACC, click here.

Amador College Connect Core Services:
Application and Enrollment Process
Amador College Connect offers one-on-one, individualized assistance in the application, enrollment and registration processes. Students may use our center’s computer lab to fill out online applications, as well as complete the coursework once enrolled and actively attending classes. You don’t even need your own computer to take online classes (but it helps!)
Amador College Connect peer mentors are like personal coaches for your online education experience. Peer Mentors are experienced online college students who volunteer their time to help new students through every step of the application, enrollment and registration process, as well as navigating the online classroom platform. Peer mentor services are optional, and they are completely free.
Amador College Connect offers free tutoring to help students with English, basic reading/writing skills, math, and other subject areas as requested. Tutoring is offered in a group setting or one-on-one, by appointment only, and takes place at our computer lab in Sutter Creek.
The Amador College Connect computer lab offers Windows-based computers that are free for our students to use on a drop-in basis during regular business hours. The lab offers high-speed WiFi and a student printer. Students may also use the lab as a study center and bring their own laptops.
Financial Aid Application Assistance
ACC partners with the Mother Lode Educational Opportunity Center to help students with financial aid applications. Appointments are available every other week at Amador College Connect. Ask our center coordinator for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Occasionally, colleges require students enrolled in online classes to take tests at a specified testing center, given by an authorized person, called a proctor. College Connect offers this service by appointment in our computer lab
Qualifying Amador College Connect students can apply for financial scholarships (free money that does not have to be paid back) from two sources: the Jackson Rancheria Scholarship Fund and the MHSA Scholarship Fund.
